ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a price reduction for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in November 2025. The price has dropped by Rs5.88 per kilogram, benefiting domestic consumers across the country. As a result, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs69.44, bringing the new cost to Rs2,378.89.
This revision comes after global LPG market trends prompted the price reduction. For the month of October, the price of a domestic cylinder was Rs2,448.33, meaning consumers will save nearly Rs70 per cylinder. The new price will come into effect starting November 1, 2025.
OGRA aims to provide ongoing relief to consumers by adjusting prices according to market conditions. The authority has previously announced similar price cuts, including a reduction in September, when the price of LPG dropped by Rs79.14 per cylinder. This trend has helped ease the financial burden on households across the country.
In August 2025, LPG prices were also reduced by Rs1.17 per kilogram, which brought the price of a domestic cylinder down by Rs14.36. The regulator stated that these reductions reflect global market shifts and aim to ensure LPG remains affordable for consumers.
With these consecutive cuts, OGRA continues to address the rising cost of living and provide support for consumers. The adjustments reflect the government’s efforts to stabilize prices amid fluctuating global energy markets.
